Episode 040: Is there life after forty?

This time bringing you a bunch of tunes that have nothing in common apart from the fact that the original SIDs were all composed between 1984 and 1986. Also, I talk about an upcoming album release, and mention a couple of videos that you need to watch.

Episode 039: From deep within the Swedish woods

Time for another irregularly scheduled dose of the best remixes out there. This time the show is produced and assembled on my laptop, using different recording gear and software from the stuff I’m used to, so apologies in advance if it’s not up to standard, sound quality wise.

Also included is another track from the new Reyn Ouwehand album, a look back at both the Back In Time Live 2007 and SLAY Radio Gathering 2007 events, as well as recent news and listener feedback.

[*] The Nelly Futardo track in question ripped off a C64 track without asking for permission or even crediting the original composer/performer. The remix featured on todays episode is based on the same source material – but I’m giving full credit. In other words: back off, lawyers.

Episode 037: In memory of Richard Joseph

On the afternoon of March 4th 2007, veteran composer Richard Joseph passed away, after a short battle with lung cancer. I had the good fortune of meeting Richard at Back In Time London in 2002, and he left a lasting impression – although we only talked briefly I have fond memories of a man who despite his status as a legend was the most down-to-earth chap you’d ever come across. Our thoughts go out to Richards friends and family.

Join in as Makke and I pay tribute with a podcast entirely dedicated to the works of Richard Joseph, both the way he created the tunes himself, and the way other people interpreted his work.
